Description: The iENGAGE: Service and Sightseeing in the City program is an on-going service opportunity for all students, but international students were especially encouraged to participate. iENGAGE brought together new and experienced students to travel to regional communities. For each trip, the main goals were for students to have a transformative learning experience through service, peer-to-peer inclusive student interaction, and develop a strong sense of civic responsibility as a result of their impact in the community.

Learning Outcomes: •Define intercultural competency development from a service perspective •Describe an effective engagement opportunity between international and domestic students •Demonstrate ways to collaborate across different campus partners to innovate and work towards common goals •Develop student leadership skills through guided and progressively student-run programs •Demonstrate how to steward current resources to make significant community impact for campus and for the international community •Create a sustainable programming model by taking full advantage of resources, collaboration, and student engagement.
