Call for Proposals!

This year’s theme is: The Advisor Story: Competency, Resiliency, Advocacy. We can’t wait to see what wonderful proposals come in!

IlliAAC is proud to host the Annual IlliAAC Conference which is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Levis Faculty Center.  At this one-day event, academic professionals from around campus will come together and share ideas, talk about trends, and engage in professional development. This year’s theme is The Advisor Story: Competency, Resiliency, Advocacy

Each session will be 45 minutes in duration.

Submissions are due no later than Friday, November 10th, 2017. Monday, November 20 at 1:00pm.

Presenters will be notified of their proposal status no later than November 22.

Lunch!

Join IlliAAC for a meaningful connections luncheon at Legends on October 30th from 12-1pm! Mingle with advisors and other student support services staff while enjoying delicious food. Lunch is on your own but we want to make sure we reserve enough space. Please register HERE for the luncheon by October 29th. General Meeting

When: Tuesday, October 31 from 9:00 to 11:00 am
Where: 1080 Foreign Languages Building

We’ll be discussing campus and student safety with representatives from Campus Police and Justin Brown, Associate Dean of Students, Director for Student Conflict Resolution, and Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Please come to learn more about campus safety, Title IX, advisors’ responsibilities to report Title IX violations, and student resources. We will include time for general IlliAAC business, presentations, and questions.
